We understand navigating healthcare bureaucracy can be a nightmare, so we aim to make 'how we do things' as transparent as possible.
Pricing & Payment
Pricing: For an up to date list of consult pricing click here.

Payment: An invoice will be emailed to you after the consultation, to be paid via bank transfer. If you would like to pay via Credit Card we can issue a Stripe invoice which includes the processing fee (1.75% + $0.30).

If you have a Medicare Referral (EPC/EDP) or Private Health, you will need to pay in full for us to issue a receipt that can be used to claim your rebate.
Referrals
See below for what referrals we accept and our policies around this. If being referred under an EPC or EDP plan by your GP, ensure it has the correct practitioner name and address.

Being referred to us
Do you bulk bill?
Rebates
You will need to book a GP session to make a referral to us for rebates via EPC or EDP plans.

Ask your GP to put 'SAVVY DIETETICS' for the name on the referral as any of our Dietitians can accept this and see you for consults.

Please do not put Savita as the practitioner on the referral unless you already have a consult organised with her, as she is not taking on new waitlist clients. If you do this, you may need to contact your GP to re-write the referral.

For an address, please use PO Box 215, Greenslopes LPO, 4120, QLD. Our Sunshine Coast address listed on Google is incorrect - we are working with them to remove this.

It is your responsibility to reach out to us to book an appointment after being referred, we will not reach out to you unless the referrer has explicitly asked us to.

Our Dietitians do not bulk-bill appointments, so all sessions incur a 'gap fee'. If you have reached the Medicare Safety Net, out of pocket cost for consult will be minimal.
Consult rebate estimates can be found here. After paying your consult invoice in full, you can ask for a receipt. We'll ensure this contains all the information needed. Medicare rebates can be claimed via the Medicare Portal on MyGov
Availability
Please note the availability of the practitioner you are seeking to book in with - listed on our 'Booking In' page and online booking link (click practitioner name, then see left side panel) - before creating a care plan or other arrangements. If you are not available for the hours that our practitioners work, we are happy to suggest other practitioners who are good in this space.
