Careers at Savvy Dietetics - join our team!

We’re on the lookout for a dietitian to join our small and supportive team around late 2026, or early 2027. Please see a description of ideal experience and characteristics below, and also what working with us can offer.

For more information, please reach to Savvy at savvy@savvydietetics.com.au.

We’re looking for a dietitian who:

  • Has at least two years of clinical dietetic experience since graduation, and current Dietitians Australia registration. We currently do not have capacity to accept new graduate dietitians.

  • Has a strong interest (Âą clinical or lived experience) in supporting individuals with invisible illnesses and related co-existing conditions. A clinical approach which is inclusive and affirming of people with diverse identities, neurotypes, backgrounds and abilities is essential.

‘Bread and butter’ areas of our clinic where prior experience is preferred include gastrointestinal care (DGBI, motility disorders, intolerances, etc), neurodivergence, malnutrition, non-diet/HAES care, micronutrient deficiency management, evidence-based nutraceuticals.

We're particularly interested in hearing from dietitians with experience or a special interest in paediatric nutrition, ARFID, home enteral nutrition, endometriosis and adenomyosis, or inflammatory bowel disease. If your interests or experience lies elsewhere in invisible illness or complex chronic conditions, we'd still love to hear from you.

About working with us:

  • Remote, flexible work - we are a fully telehealth clinic, and offer flexibility to choose your own clinic hours and workstyle flow. We are supportive of people who have carer roles, disabilities, and similar, and we are happy to create a role that works with your health and commitments.

  • Supportive team environment - the clients we work with are often complex, and we ensure that despite being a telehealth clinic, there is a team feel with ongoing support. As a team, we catch up fortnightly to check in and chat through any curly cases. During your onboarding period, you would receive thorough training and a structured supervision program for the first six or so months of practice with us.

  • Minimal admin load - we handle all marketing, and 99.9% of client bookings, invoicing, waitlist management and similar. We have streamlined our softwares and electronic systems to reduce unnecessary admin tasks, and we will provide you with access to our Heidi AI subscription for use during consults.

  • This is a casual employee role, and there would be the opportunity to transition to part time employee in the future if desired.
